Everyone Stands Together
This is a video our team participated in during the St. Joseph County Nursing Home Collaborative. This is a great way to collaborate and empower front line staff.
I want to applaude you All on taking on this collaborative initiative. Involving those who are the direct care providers in the decision making process "Real Time" is so refreshing to hear. For your group you found a way to have open dialog with staff and include all the TEAM and to do so in long term care-Keep up the GREAT work you all are doing. Congratulations!
This is a wonderful video. I loved the discussion of working with staff that are initially uncomfortable speaking in meetings with formal leaders and helping them develop those skills so that they feel at ease and begin sharing their ideas to improve your home for residents. Congratulations, it sounds like you have created an environment that is better for both staff and residents.
